This song was conceived in the spring of 2017, back in the days when I was writing song after song each day. This was originally the first duet I've ever written in my life. Fast-forward six years, and here I am, planning on making the whole song, finding the lyrics (which I occasionally forget having written more than 200 songs), remembering how I arranged it in my head, the whole melody, chords, and instrument parts. It's sometimes hard to keep everything in like that, so the way I take care of it is I write the chords down with the lyrics, but not this time. This time I added them to my text note in my phone last month while sitting down and playing the song on my acoustic guitar. Crazy fun—nothing more than beautiful time well spent. 🥰☮ I started working on the song a few hours after finishing and uploading "Dancing on Mars". Started recording all the parts, but went tired and gave myself a little pause to breathe. A week later, after walking a lot—literally over 50.000 steps that week and the week before—I finally had the courage to get back at it again. Walking aside, Tina and I spent even more amazingly using time to record the vocals as clean and crisp as possible, and we succeeded!
