Please leave any comments or questions below Hello Everyone, I put together a plan several years ago that would allow me to transition into a vehicle in 2017-2019, with the targeted date of June 2018. I contemplated using my Ford Focus Wagon, building my own vehicle or buying a turn key vehicle that was ready to use on day 1. I still take trips lasting 1 week to 3 months using the Ford Focus Wagon, but for long term comfort, I have identifed the ideal vehicle for me is a Winnebago Travato 59G 2016 or newer with low mileage and a few optional items included. North America is gorgeous, so I guesstimate it will take 3-5 years to drive around Canada, the USA and Mexico exploring and following the (good weather), but like always , take it one day at a time and life will determine the rest as we go along.
