Pelé was so far ahead of his time. He was a global icon of the game before the game went truly global. He did so much for football(/soccer) and had so much skill, just doesn't do justice to the talents of this player. His birthday was last October. Report from the 29th and next morning. I am watching the film "Escape to Victory" (1981), with Pelé and other greats of their time in a football film, the only one I really watch and like. I am not a football fan at all, but people of a certain age will all know of Pelé and I have seen this film about 30 times if not more already.
