This video was thought of and created to provide you with all the necessary information needed to start a productive herb and vegetable garden today! Just like the title promotes, we'll go through and describe 6 steps that are imperative to growing a garden you can be proud of. Think of this as a crash course into gardening where you will learn about basic gardening principles that when properly applied will show significant improvements in the garden. This video will be the first in a series of videos in which we will be teaching you how to garden and providing you with real time results as the season goes on. In this episode we will talk specifically about setting up the gardening and the things you need to do to be successful before you put your plants in the ground. The follow up videos will be created to document the trials and tribulations of growing a garden and give you the opportunity to grow your garden along with me, even exactly if you would like! I want to provide you with a genuine learning experience that gives you more confidence in the garden. In this video and series I will mainly be using a raised garden bed to demonstrate necessary teaching and knowledge points. However, I will also be growing in pots and grow bags to show those of you that don't necessarily have the room to install larger raised beds, or are only looking to grow a few crops they love. So even though you see me gardening in this larger raised bed, this video is still applicable to you!
