Rare BNSF EMD SD75M'S over Chatsworth Street May 8, 2023

Hey there everyone! Lifetime Train Boy here and in this video, we see two members of a rare locomotive model descending Como Hill in Saint Paul, Minnesota! On May 8, 2023, sometime after 12:45 pm, I got off the Metro Transit Route 3A bus at the intersection of Como Avenue and Chatsworth Street to find a westbound manifest train stopped on the bridge. This bridge carries BNSF Railway's former Northern Pacific Saint Paul Subdivision through the South Como neighborhood of Saint Paul. Since the westbound manifest was occupying the north track, I positioned myself on the south side of the tracks to watch for any action on the south track. Shortly afterward, an eastbound headlight appeared on the horizon on the south track and I quickly got into position to film the train. Lo and behold, I was looking at a pair of renumbered EMD SD75M's descending the grade with a short eastbound manifest in tow! Locomotive shown: 1) BNSF EMD SD75M No. 252 (built in December 1995 as No. 8252, renumbered and repainted as Swoosh No. 252 in 2014) 2) BNSF EMD SD75M No. 251 (built in December 1995 as No. 8251, renumbered and repainted as Swoosh No. 251 in 2014) Thank you so much for watching this video!
