Atlanta orthopedic surgeon Dr. Timothy Griffith

A native of Atlanta, Dr. Timothy Griffith joined Peachtree Orthopedics in 2014. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon specializing in shoulder, knee, and elbow surgery. He is a Team Physician for the Atlanta Braves (MLB) and Head Team Physician for the Georgia Swarm (NLL). Dr. Griffith utilizes minimally invasive and innovative arthroscopic and open techniques to treat shoulder, knee and elbow injuries. He is a Team Physician for the Atlanta Braves, Head Team Physician for the Georgia Swarm, and serves as the venue medical director for the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions, featuring members of the U.S. Olympic Team, in addition to serving as Team Physician for Forsyth Central, Lambert, and West Forsyth High Schools. Some of his special interests include: rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability repair (labral tears and dislocations), anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, knee ligament surgery, meniscal repair, ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction ("Tommy John" surgery), elbow ligament and tendon repairs, and total shoulder replacement. He also performs complex and revision surgical cases.
