The development environment isn’t set up, so I was thinking of making a video about how to set up your development environment on a Mac. If you’re new to the channel, I do a lot of coding tutorials, especially for people who are just learning the foundations of programming. Whenever I do these tutorials, my development environment is already fully configured and set up. If you want to set up your development environment with me, from scratch, then you’ve come to the right place! And if you don’t know what a development environment is, you can think of it as a series of tools that help you write code and develop software on your computer. In this video, I’m going to go over three main steps—or three main tools: ✅ Installing Visual Studio Code Visual Studio Code is a code editor that allows you to write, compile, and run your code. ✅ Installing Git Git is a really useful tool for developers. I recommend even new programmers start using it right away. ✅ Creating a GitHub Account I already have a GitHub account, but I’ll show you how to sign up for one and connect it with your Git installation on your computer. ================================================= 📚 Stay Tuned for More: If you found this video helpful, make sure to like and subscribe to our channel for more programming tutorials and tips.
