Ivan Ezhov, postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for AI and Informatics in Medicine at TUM, presented the HyperProbe project at ECR 2025 during his talk: “HyperProbe: Transforming Brain Surgery by Advancing Functional-Guided Neuronavigational Imaging.” In this presentation, he introduced cutting-edge optical imaging technologies designed to support neurosurgery. The focus was on hyperspectral imaging for non-invasive diagnostics, showcasing how these innovations aim to improve the precision and effectiveness of brain surgery. The HyperProbe device is being developed to: Provide real-time, non-invasive brain tissue imaging using non-ionising light Detect cellular and molecular biomarkers with high precision Use AI and machine learning for advanced data analysis and image reconstruction Be compact, portable, and compatible with existing tools like the surgical microscope 📍 This video was filmed at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2025: https://www.myesr.org/congress/ 🔗 Learn more about the project on the official HyperProbe website: https://hyperprobe.eu/about/
