Porto Ottiolu è una splendida baia situata a metà strada tra Budoni, di cui è frazione, e San Teodoro, al confine tra Baronìa e Gallura. La sua spiaggia è perfettamente a misura d’uomo, meta obbligata per chi intenda godersi le comodità delle strutture balneari: mezzo chilometro di finissima sabbia chiara, con riflessi brillanti, che formano piccole dune coperte di bassa vegetazione, basso fondale che rende agevole la balneazione dei bambini, di fronte l’isolotto denominato To d’ottiolu. Informazioni per i diportisti: Il complesso di Marina di Ottiolu, tra i porti in Sardegna, è composto da un cantiere nautico attrezzato, dal porto turistico ed un residence-hotel. Localizzato a sud-ovest della punta di Ottiolu, il marina privato è protetto da due moli segnalati in testata. La struttura comprende un avamporto e banchine attrezzate per l'approdo delle imbarcazioni da diporto, per un totale di 405 posti barca di cui 40 riservati al transito. Profondità e fondali della struttura portuale I fondali sono sabbiosi a 200 metri dalla costa e buoni tenitori; rocciosi lungo la costa. Avamporto: 5 metri Moli esterni: 4,5 metri Bacino massimo nell'area dell'imboccatura: 3,1 metri Bacino interno: 2,8 metri Ingresso nel porto Da Nord: per navigare verso l'imboccatura, è necesario passare a circa mezzo miglio a est della Punta Ottiolu. La boa cardinale Nord, da lasciarsi a sinistra, segnala la fine di una scogliera sommersa che si protrae verso NE dall'isolotto di Ottiolu. Da Sud: è necessario navigare a circa 1 miglio est dell'isolotto e proseguire superando la stessa boa.
