I Choose You to be no Other Than Yourself | Kelsey & Alex's Hotel X Wedding in Toronto

“Here’s to more dance parties, lazy days in the sun, raising families together and everything in between”. Kelsey and Alex's wedding at the Hotel X in Toronto was all about their guest experience. From prep to reception, they included their closest friends and family to make sure they were an integral part of the day. In particular, they chose to have a less traditional reception, with food stations (instead of a plated dinner) and a variety of seating options for their guests — tables, lounge furniture, high-top tables under the trees. We've filmed in the New Fort Hall a few times (one of our favourite reception locations in Toronto) and we loved how guests were able to spend the entire time mingling, enjoying the food variety and having a great time. Kelsey and Alex still made time to ensure they kept some focus on their time together. Their first look and vow exchange on the rooftop was a very special experience; romantic and intimate with spectacular views. We took a little time for a room reveal, golden hour and night time portraits. Those little pockets of time are so important to make sure you're sharing a true once in a lifetime experience.
