This cheerful soft rock song, whose lyrics refer to the American dream (with perhaps a touch of cynicism) is arranged in three parts, with an optional second line in the sop 1 part (SSSA). There is plenty to learn with three verses and some sparkling jazz-style scat sections. There is lots of melodic interplay between the vocal parts and with the piano. I have classified this as advanced intermediate in difficulty, and to achieve a good performance the demading piano accompaniment plays a vital part.
