R.I.P. Eddie Jordan OBE (30 March 1948 - 20 March 2025)

The former F1 team owner, TV pundit and entrepreneur, Eddie Jordan OBE, has sadly passed away at the age of 76, following a brave battle with prostate cancer. Eddie owned the "Jordan Grand Prix" Formula One team for 15 seasons between 1991 and 2005 and the team claimed four race wins in total, including an epic 1998 Belgian GP, where Damon Hill led home a one-two finish in the rain alongside teammate Ralf Schumacher. In this clip from the 1998 F1 pre-season, Eddie talked about the team’s aspirations and his stellar driver lineup of Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher. And, Damon Hill commented, "I like the style of Eddie Jordan. I think the one thing about him is that his enthusiasm effects everyone in the team and it really is Eddie Jordan's team and I'm very very happy to be part of it....he knows what he wants and he knows he's going to get there" May one of the great characters of Formula One and motorsport, Edmund Patrick Jordan OBE, rest in peace.
