Just a week after visiting Santa Pod Raceway in UK, we travel to Germany for Round 4 of the European Drag Racing Championship, officially sanctioned by the F.I.A. (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile). This event takes place at Hockenheim Ring and it's called NitrOlympX, a blend of sheer adrenaline, speed and an amazing variety of vehicles and racing classes. It's the 37th edition of this prestigious festival spanning on 3 days of action and pure entertainment. In this video we take a peek at all four FIA-sanctioned Classes: Top Fuel (Dragsters) Top Methanol (Dragsters & Funny Cars) Pro Stock (Cars) Pro Modified (Cars) The level of this competition is extremely high, the track is laid, prepped, serviced and maintained to the highest standards and the racers are clocking some really tight passes I guarantee they'll make you literally jump on your seat! This video also contains the shocking footage of Jean Dulamon's Camaro crash during one of the last qualifier rounds in the FIA Pro Modified Class. Happy to report the driver is ok and unscathed, credit to the safety measures that did an oustanding job at preserving his life.
