-- The 2021 campaign has finished, so you can skip the intro below -- 00:00 - Toys for Tots Campaign Intro 01:24 - The model I am using 02:29 - PrusaSlicer action starts here! 05:31- First round, basic tweaks - 52 min 32:13 - Second round after infill tricks - 36 min 35:45 - Seam optimized version - 37 min 38:06 - 0.6mm examples, including the 20 min Jeep. IC3D and the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots have partnered for a 4th year, to produce, and donate 3D printed toys on Christmas! This is a great cause, and a lot of fun to participate in! In preparation for going into mass production mode, I am documenting how I go about deciding how far I can push my printers to make the best use of time, while still producing good parts. Will these exact settings work for your printer? Probably not. But the process will! This is a longer video, but goes through the steps from start to finish, and has multiple sample prints along the way. I hope you find it useful, and please share any tricks you might have as well in the comments!
