Amped 1 has an intuitive control set like a traditional amp, but the versatility of programmability and Pro Digital Technology. AMPED 1 is a 100W, no compromise, pedal platform floorboard amp capable of delivering the tone and feel of traditional valve amps. Therefore, the USA and UK voices offer two of the most revered and popular platforms for pedals and effects. In addition to these traditional guitar amp voices, the Flat voice provides the ability to plug your favourite amp modeller or preamp pedal directly into your Amped 1 without colouring your tone. Via the Response control, Amped 1 offers 5 distinctly different power valve responses and a Linear response for transparent power amplification. The power valve responses (EL84, 6V6, EL34, 6L6, and KT88) deliver the response, dynamics, sag and break up characteristics of their analogue counterparts. The 6 responses are delivered with 100W of power at 8 or 16 ohms in a compact package that fits in your gig bag. Use the Flat voice with the standard power valve responses or in combination with the Linear response for totally transparent power amplification. AMPED 1 provides the opportunity to experience any modeller, profiler, preamp pedal at its absolute best. CabRig is Blackstar’s next-generation DSP speaker simulator and begets a fundamental shift in the accessibility of professional recording and performing. CabRig awards budding musicians the ability to access previously unattainable technology, that has long been reserved for professional sound engineers and producers. The CabRig outputs enable you to get the sound in your head from any speaker including headphones, studio monitors and front of house.
