For over a century, folks around the west side of Michigan have seen ghostly apparitions in the town of Ada, Michigan. One of these apparitions is named "The Ada Witch." As the story goes: a woman was cheating on her husband. Her husband found his wife and her lover in modern day Seidman Park in a lover's embrace. He wasn't too happy finding them, and an altercation began that took the lives of each person in the love triangle. Now, people say they see a woman in a long dress wandering around the area of Findlay Cemetery and Seidman Park in Ada, Michigan. When they approach her, though, she runs away. Some even say they've seen apparitions of all three lovers reenact what happened that night.This tale has falsely been attributed to a woman named "Sarah McMillan." How did this happen? I investigate the origins of The Ada Witch urban legend.
