Welcome to the beautiful island of Rhodes in Greece. In this video I show you my TOP 5 excursions that you can do on Rhodes. Beautiful bays, historic towns with castles, churches and fortresses, architectural highlights and also some animals await you. 5 Anthony Quinn Bay The Anthony Quinn Bay is located on the east coast of the island of Rhodes and is known for its crystal clear, deep blue water and numerous small and large rocks as a real snorkelling hot spot on the island. 4 Kallithea Springs Kallithea Springs or Kallithea Therme is probably one of the most beautiful locations on the island of Rhodes. Lush gardens, pebble mosaics and crystal clear waters make Kallithea Springs the ideal place for a magical getaway. 3 Filerimos On Filerimos Mountain there is a Byzantine monastery and a fortress, as well as the Way of the Cross with the 16 meter high cross. Filerimos Mountain impresses with beautiful views of the entire island and across the sea to Turkey. The archaeological site of Filerimos is one of the most important archaeological sites on the island of Rhodes and is home to several beautiful monuments from different historical periods of the island and can be visited for a small entrance fee. 2 Lindos. The picture-book village of Lindos is located on the east side of the island of Rhodes. The typical whitewashed houses from the 11th century BC and the Acropolis above the village with the beautiful Mediterranean Sea in the background are a dream for every photographer and are a feast for the eyes. 1 Rhodes Town The most popular tourist attraction in Rhodes is of course the town of Rhodes, which is located on the northern tip of the island. Here you can visit the Acropolis of Rhodes, the medieval old town and the harbor and explore the most beautiful places. And at the end I have an Insider Tip for you. Euch erwarten wunderschöne Buchten, historische Städte mit Burgen, Kirchen und Festungen, architektonische Highlights und auch einige Tiere. 5 Anthony Quinn Bay Die Anthony Quinn Bucht liegt an der Ostküste der Insel Rhodos und ist bekannt durch kristallklares, tiefblaues Wasser, zahlreiche kleine und größere Felsen als wahres Schnorchel Hot Spot der Insel. 4 Kallithea Springs Kallithea Springs oder Kallithea Therme ist wahrscheinlich eine der schönsten Locations auf der Insel Rhodos. Üppige Gärten, Kieselsteinmosaike und kristallklares Wasser machen Kallithea Springs zum idealen Ort für einen magischen Kurzurlaub. 3 Filerimos Auf dem Filerimos Berg befinden sich ein byzantinisches Kloster und eine Festung, sowie der Kreuzweg mit dem 16 Meter hohen Kreuz. Den Filerimos Berg beeindruckt durch wunderschöne Aussichten auf die komplette Insel und über das Meer bis zur Türkei. Die archäologische Stätte von Filerimos ist eine der wichtigsten archäologischen Stätten auf der Insel Rhodos und beherbergt mehrere wunderschöne Monumente aus verschiedenen historischen Epochen der Insel. 2 Lindos Das Bilderbuchdorf Lindos liegt auf der Ostseite der Insel Rhodos. Die typischen weißgetünchten Häuser aus dem 11 ten Jahrhundert vor Christus und die Akropolis oberhalb des Dorfes mit dem wunderschönen Mittelmeer im Hintergrund sind ein Traum für jeden Fotografen und sind ein Genuss für das Auge. Platz 1 Rhodos Stadt Die beliebteste Touristenattraktion von Rhodos ist natürlich die Stadt Rhodos, die auf der Nordspitze der Insel liegt. Hier können die Akropolis von Rhodos, die mittelalterliche Altstadt und den Hafen besucht und die schönsten Plätze erkundet werden. Am Ende des Videos habe ich noch ein Geheimtipp für euch.
