This is a tribute from Yamandu Costa to the great and inspired French composer, the fantastic Michel Legrand. I remember the emotion I had, even in my childhood, when I watched the movie "The Summer knows" whose wonderful score was composed by Legrand. When the melody played by the violins entered, I was deeply touched, and without even realizing it, that melody aroused deep and intense emotions in me: the music, perhaps, would visit me that way for the first time. I leave here my simple but sincere tribute to this wonderful creator of unforgettable melodies.
