A joint event for both the GCR and GCRN with services running on both sections of the Great Central Railway with a bus replacement service running between the two. An almost gala timetable running on the line from Loughborough Central to Leicester North, and 4 trips each day on the GCR from Ruddington Fields to Lougborough South Junction just behind the brush works. There were numerous tours of the stations and talks relating to the reunification efforts by boths heritage lines. There were also shed tours and stands from some of the preservation groups.
