Snow Winter Overnighter | Hot Tent | Bushcraft | Helsport Pasvik Lavvu | Tschum Tent Stove

Leaving in the late afternoon, we hike into the night through a winter forest. As it gets dark, it begins to snow even stronger. Finally we find a good site to set up out Lavvu, a good trustworthy Helsport Pasvik 4-6 person tent. We gather some fire wood and process it with our Hultafors axe and folding saw. We then assemble our Tschum Poshehonka tent stove and light our UCO candle. A cozy evening begins with freshly made goulash. We fall asleep to the candle light and the sounds of wet snow dripping on the tent. After a night at freezing temperatures we get up and process some more fire wood. Next, we light the stove and clean the dishes using molten snow and moss. We prepare coffee and have bacon and eggs for breakfast. We enjoy the silence and break down camp after some time. We find that the stove pipe was very clogged and clean it using moss and a stick.
