Directed by Moirangthem Maniram, the story traces the life of four unemployed central characters Manab, Tapan, Nayan and Akan as they battle unemployment, poverty, meagerness, dipsomania and other hardships. Some of them choose the wrong side/ short cut of making money while some choose the hard/ pure side. The outcome of their choices and the direction that their lives take in the process is the central plot of the film. All the central characters performed brilliantly. The film has a subliminal message that one should not go to self-destructive extents out of frustration and greed, but should rather work hard no matter the circumstances thrown in, and results will follow. The songs of the film were also superb. The Film won the National Award for Assamese Feature Film in 2010.
