Fast Forward to Queensland: Port Stephens to Broughton Island. 27 May 2024.

leaving Corlette in Port Stephens against an incoming tide, I passed out through the heads inside cabbage tree Island and then headed north east to Broughton Island. It was a leisurely idyllic sail with a following wind. After about 4 hours I rounded Providence head and came into Providence beach where I moored for the night. I walked across the small island and took in the sights of the south coast. The stunning white beaches in protected coves, it really is a little piece of heaven.
