Harbor Freight Engine Stand Assembly, Review & Comparison (69521 & 69522) Part 1 of 2

In this video (Part 1 of 2) I'll be doing an unboxing, testing and review of the Harbor Freight 2,000 lb Engine Stand. We'll be unboxing, assembly and putting it to the test to see how well this stand works. I’m also going to be doing a comparison. While looking at the owner’s manual for the Pittsburgh Folding Engine Stand on Harbor Freight’s website I discovered there were two different item numbers and even though they had the same specs and pricing they were very different in their design. I believed one of these engine stands was substantially better suited for my needs and had better features than the other. I will assemble both Harbor Freight Folding Engine Stands and do a detailed side by side comparison of these two engine stands in this review. The two engine stands have different dimensions and I will explain that as well. The models I'm unboxing today is 69521 and 69522. I will show what is included in the box for both models and explain their assembly. There will be detailed assembly instructions for the 69522 model. I’ll explain the bolts and how to put it together. I’ll then mount a 5.4 liter V8 motor to the engine stand so we can do some testing. I’ll also be showing a modification ( mods ) I did to my engine stand that made it work even better. I’ll be doing a future video showing the mods we did to our stand as we began to use it, such as a drip tray (or pan), locking pin, bolts we changed for the arms and how to improve the rotisserie function. There is a 750 lb (item 61238 & 69887) and 1,000 lb engine stand (item 69250 & 69886) offered by Harbor Freight that will not be included in this comparison.
