We break out the battle maps and miniatures as we try out this dice driven roguelite - Odds Chronicles. Odds Chronicles is a tactical RPG currently in the works by the developers Team Mojo Games and eSolu Games. A roguelike adventure that has you playing as the hero Evryn, criss-crossing the map and rolling a variety of dice to charge up her attacks, defence and magical abilities. The fights themselves take place on grid based 3D maps, dioramas that look a little like the 3D terrain a dungeon master might use to stage a combat encounter in Dungeons & Dragons or similar TTRPG. And this really does attempt to invoke that tabletop game feel with its clattering dice and custom miniatures.
