Into this lila in which we try to play our little part, diligently. On this auspicious occasion, We joyfully bring to you a song offering composed by Smt Parvathy Baul invoking Maa Durga's grace. Following nine days are the most sacred Navratri that marks the battle, the triumph and celebration of the victory. We wish you a wonderful and purposeful Durga pujo. About Parvathy Baul Parvathy Baul is Baul Sadhika , practitioner of the ancient Baul path. She undertook rigorous practice in the traditional path of Bauls of Bengal under the guidance of her Gurus Sri Sanatan Das Baul and Sri Shashanko Goshai. She is one of the most acclaimed ambassador of this tradition. She is currently setting up traditional Baul school called Sanatan Siddhashram in Bengal. Her aim is to further the pursuit and practise of Baul path systematically under the able guidance of the traditional masters. About Ekathara Kalari Ekathara Kalari is a space for sadhakas(practitioners) from the traditional knowledge streams of art, spirituality, theatre, puppetry, music and healing. Merging the concepts of the ‘Akhara’, a space for Baul practitioners from the Bengali tradition, and the ‘Kalari’, the traditional Kerala theatre practice space. It was founded by Shri. Ravi Gopalan Nair and Smt. Parvathy Baul in 1997. Sanatan Siddhashram, near Shantiniketan, Bengal, is the Gurukul that houses all the work of Ekathara Kalari.
