Grace Évora, born on February 2, 1969, in São Vicente, Cape Verde, is a distinguished singer and drummer renowned for his contributions to Cape Verdean music.  From a young age, Grace exhibited a profound passion for music, both as a vocalist and percussionist. His family’s musical background played a pivotal role in nurturing his talents.  In his early years, Grace relocated with his family to Paris and subsequently settled in Rotterdam, Netherlands. His musical career gained momentum in 1989 when he joined the band Livity as a drummer.
