Our next goal as part of our woodland restoration plan is to replant as many native trees and shrubs as we can in the areas that have been negatively affected by deforestation. However, to do that we need YOUR help! So we’ve started a fundraiser with a goal to reach £500 to help fund the purchase of hundreds of trees. These will include the common species that are found in native deciduous woodlands: beech, oak, silver birch. But we also want to introduce other pioneering species to help diversify the ecosystem, such as aspen, wild service, wild cherry, Scot’s pine, and many more!
