Flowing Rivers! Ebony Trees! Fresh Village Fish Soup! Join our adventure hiking through Ghana's Ankasa National Park! This incredible tropical rainforest, part of the Ankasa Conservation Area, is a true natural paradise! Forest elephants, leopards, and 10 primate species, like the endangered West African chimpanzee live here! It is also home to an astounding 800 plant species, over 630 butterfly species, and more than 190 bird species, including rare ones like the White-breasted Guinea Fowl. We learned so much on the hike with the park ranger! We stayed in our camper Nulla, but the Ankasa Reserve Lodge, at the park's entrance has great options for travelers and a restaurant. We loved the fresh fish soup in the local village! Visiting Ankasa isn't just an amazing experience; it also supports crucial conservation efforts and benefits the local community! Enjoy!
