First Day of Half-Length/5-Car R160 Trains on the G - October 8, 2021

Here are several videos taken on October 8, 2021, featuring the MTA NYC Subway - in particular the Crosstown Line/G train. On this day, 5-car R160 trains started running on the G, alongside the usual 4-car R46 and R68/A trains found on the G, in anticipation of having all 5-car R160 sets assigned to Jamaica Yard (along with the G, which was previously assigned to Coney Island Yard). This is a stark contrast to 10-car R160 trains that only run on the G when the G is extended to Coney Island to replace the F on the Culver Line!
