Established in 1980 by the late Shri M.H. Jayaprakash Narayan, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr. AIT) is a premier autonomous engineering college located in Mallathahalli, Bengaluru. Spread across a lush 26-acre campus, the institute is governed by the Panchajanya Vidya Peetha Welfare Trust and is government-aided. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by AICTE, and holds an A+ grade accreditation from NAAC. The college offers a wide range of academic programs, including 11 undergraduate (B.E.), 10 postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA, MCA), and 15 research centers for doctoral studies.
