This is one of those rides that transcends time. I am glad is has not changed much since I was a kid growing up in the 70's. I enjoy that my Niece and Nephews can see and enjoy this as I did as a child. It gives us Context as to times past, how we used to live, the old technology through the ages. And helps us appreciate what we have now, from looking back at then! I hope Disney does not destroy this time capsule, that Walt Disney personally had a hand in developing. When you look at the history of this ride, you could say that this ride started it all! Back when it was show cased at the World Fair! Lately I have been seeing DIsney destroy a lot of Classic attractions that I feel they should have left alone! With all the land they have, I think they should have built new attractions, instead of destroying old ones for new. For an example, destroying the river boat messed up the theming of the area! I liked it the way it was! And trying to Replicate Cars from Disney Land Californias adventure! Again, messes up the theming. The last thing I want to hear or see while waiting in line for the haunted mansion is cars. The boat was better, you got a cool breeze from the water, and the nice sound of the water, and Steam engine chugging by, a better experience, as the area is themed as a Port, more relaxing! Let me know how you feel in the comments. Notes on video: This ride was stopped a few times by the cast members, apparently someone walked out of the theater. Disney gets concerned when people get up on this ride while its moving, and for very good reasons! Please stay in your seat while viewing this attraction!! Use some Common Sense! Enough Said!
