This is my story of why I moved from a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to a suburb of Orlando, Florida! Is moving from the Northeast to Central Florida a good idea? A lot of people are starting to ask this question! There is a mass migration from states like California, New York, Washington State, etc., and I was one of those people who made the move to Orlando. Was it a good move? Today, I’ll tell you all about my move from Pennsylvania to Central Florida and you can make that decision for yourself! I’ve lived in the northeast – my entire life. Moving to Central Florida was a HUGE decision for my family and me, and it certainly wasn’t something I decided to do on a whim. I actually spent 5 years researching and visiting various towns throughout the state before making the move. I hope to share some of the main factors that I considered prior to making the move. It was one of the best decisions of my life! Between the amazing schools, the clean roads, the beautiful homes, the great neighborhoods, and the overall vibe of Florida, it just felt right for me (and my family). There are lots of pros to living here in Florida, but to give you a full scope of what it’s like to live here, I’ll also give you a few cons so that you can weigh whether it’s a good fit for you and your family.
