Mick became a fan after picking one up (sort of semi by accident) a few years back and has been hooked ever since. Dan meanwhile has a splendid Coggins-modded Dean Markley Overlord, itself an important part of the Tube Driver’s story. As brilliant as it is, the Tube Driver is not without its annoyances. It’s physically massive, it’s mains powered and getting the most from the controls can be a long and frustrating learning process. Enter then, the Crazy Tube Circuits Venus. It is very much inspired by the Tube Driver, but smaller and can be powered from many modern pedalboard power supplies.
