This video begins my Introduction to Anomalistic Psychology -series (there will be nine videos more). The main question is simply, Why do people believe weird things? That is, why do they believe in paranomal phenomena? Why do some people even have paranormal experiences? What is going on, and what can science tell us about it? By looking into anomalistic psychology, we can also learn about psychology, because this interesting subfield of psychology provides such great examples of psychology.
