So we stole a few days and headed up north with a small to-do list and no agenda other than building fires, finding the fish, cooking good food, listening to good tunes and enjoying each others company. The tip up fishing wasn't as good as the first time, so CJ ventured off and landed himself on top of a huge school of giant crappies and pike. It wasn't long and Finley was out there reeling them in, too. As soon as Ted and I finished the day's tasks, we headed out and had a great day just being out on the ice with the kids and the dogs, catching TONS of fish and watching the eagles fly and the sun go down.
