FORECAST | Some fog, warmer, a few showers

We start out mild in the 50’s with some fog around. There is a DENSE FOG ADVISORY in place for our coastal counties until 9 am. As a weak front pushes through, we could see a couple of showers throughout the day. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70’s. Lows tonight drop back into the 50’s with some more patchy fog around. Thursday brings slightly cooler and drier air, but temps still stay above average in the 70’s. Our next system approaches this weekend bringing scattered showers and storms during the second half of Saturday, overnight, and into Sunday as it moves through. We do look to clear out just in time for Lundi Gras and Fat Tuesday. Early next week, we are expecting dry skies and temperatures in the 70’s.
