This showcase was originally uploaded on February 28, 2017 after it took like 6 to 7 months to make it. But because of copyright issues, it got blocked worldwide sometime in July. I took the time I had to recreate the remaster despite my busy schedule. I just couldn't give it up. I worked so hard to make it happen. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DENouuxXU... Nothing much has changed. Most of the combos are the same. There are some combos that have been removed because I thought of them to be redundant and I realized that it's overloaded as well. The major changes are the music and the edits. Law, one of the most stereotyped characters in the series, but that's because of his popularity and notoriety. "ws+4 DSS is real DSS while 4,3 DSS is not" "Sweeps, slides, and backflips". Law is a character who hits fast and hard, heavily based on Bruce Lee's fighting qualities as a martial artist, which is not a common attribute for most characters because fast characters are the ones who hit with small damage attacks, while the average speed and slow characters are the ones who hit hard, like Paul, Heihachi, Marduk, Jack, etc. Law is one of the fastest normal human characters along with Lee and Baek with those whiplash-like kicks that slap the opponent's face. Yoshimitsu and Kunimitsu are the fastest characters in the series, but they're not normal humans; these characters can teleport. Law's main weakness is his popularity; it's like everyone knows his moves, which makes him predictable, and he suffers poor range. He is the kind of fighter who has to get up close to his opponent to control the momentum of the fight. It's pretty much like an attribute to Bruce Lee because Bruce Lee was a near-sighted man who practices Wing Chun which is a close-ranged martial art because it relies more on touch than on sight. But then, he changed his beliefs towards martial arts and created Jeet Kune Do which is not a kind of martial art but a philosophy of how an individual expresses oneself in fighting because Bruce Lee no longer believes in styles. Technically, Law's martial art is an eclectic mix of traditional Taekwondo, Savate kickboxing, catch wrestling, and several styles of Kung Fu. Marshall Law has the most eclectic fighting style in the Tekken series. Traditional Taekwondo? Is that different to modern Taekwondo? Traditional Taekwondo is the original style of Taekwondo developed by the founders of the nine original kwans. It was when Taekwondo was only one style and all techniques were present. It's the Taekwondo that was used to train the military during the first half of the 20th century. Modern Taekwondo has been divided into multiple styles and many techniques from traditional Taekwondo have been forgotten/abandoned, and modern Taekwondo is more or less treated as a sport, especially the WT style. It was closer to Karate than other styles of Taekwondo. Marshall's main strengths are his poking, pressuring, and a wide variety of mixups because his DSS adds an extra layer to his move set over Forest. And he has the strongest wall combo damage of the entire roster, surpassing Lars and Hwoarang because of his clean hit DSS f+3. While Forest Law is the one with the better launchers are superior open space juggle damage because of his 4,3,4 that can reach to an 11 hit juggle, and he can cancel his moves when the user knows he/she is making a mistake such as cancelling his 4,3,4 during a juggle when the user knows that the last hit is about to miss, and it can also be used to combine moves and strings during a tag assault. Same goes for Marshall's DSS transition moves, but only limited to his DSS moves.
