American Industrial Mining Museum is hosting a must see event. We brought underground mining above ground for everyone to see !! Bring the entire family to see not 1 but 2 Continuous Miners operating. This is the only place in the world to see this kind of action !! A MUST FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY !! Watch coal being loaded from the continuous miner into a Joy Shuttle car. The coal is transferred onto the only narrow gauge trolley mine railway opened to the public in the United states. Coal heads to the working tipple for processing. See Komatsu underground mining digital technology theater to see an operating longwall. Fletcher roof bolting technology. Mine rescue equipment from vintage pieces that were at the Quecreek Mine disaster to state of the art West Virginia mobile command center and SCSR trailers. Make sure to see the vintage A.L. Lee underground rescue chamber. A.I.M.Co Museum is also hosting the Eastern Mining Collectors swap meet. The largest vintage mining collectible show in Western, Pa. Various Mining Museums will have displays set up. Coal Punchers, Coal Cutters, Shortwall Mining Machines, Coal Drills, Mine Cars, Working Coal Tipple, Coal Conveyor, Lee Norse Continuous Miner, Joy 14CM Continuous Miner with remote control operations, MEV, Mine Escape Vehicle, Jeffrey Trolley Locomotive, Brookville Locomotive, Watt Mine Cars, Lee Norse roof bolter, Plymouth Locomotives, Whitcomb Locomotive.
