Sego Canyon petroglyphs and pictographs in Utah / Found this on Google Earth .

While looking around on Google Earth and Google Maps I finally found some pictographs and petroglyphs that I've always wanted to see in. The rock art found inside Sego Canyon Utah is widely referenced within the ancient aliens circles as well as within the North American History community. And the meaning of these images is hotly debated and contested. Though the true meaning of most of these images is completely unknown they are so mysterious that it's irresistible to imagine what the original artist intended. The images can be found just a few miles off the highway and there is a small parking area and restroom. The town of Sego has long since been abandoned but remnants of the ghost town remain. A few locals do still live in the area and much of Sego Canyon is private property. Well established trails lead to the various pictograph and petroglyph panels and the hikiking is limited to only a few yards at a time so no serious hiking or walking is required but the trails are dirt so be careful. Always be respectful when visiting ancient sites. These ancient native american pictographs, petroglyphs and rock art are a sacred aspect of human history and must be respected as such.
