New Insights Into the Management of Low Grade Gliomas: Dr. David Steinke, Neurosurgeon This presentation will explain to participants what constitutes a "Low Grade Glioma." He will speak about how progress in neuroscience has affected brain tumour surgery, and present state of the art management of low grade gliomas. About David Steinke, MD, MSc, FRCSC Dr. Steinke graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Medical School. He completed the Neurosurgical Residency Program at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1990 and has been specializing in the treatment of brain tumours for the last 22 years. Dr. Steinke is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta.
