Ultra MIS carpal tunnel release allows for reducing the incision to 1 mm for treating carpal tunnel syndrome. Classic operations may require more than 4 cm for achieving the same purpose. On March 9th, 2016, Dr Jose Rojo Manaute had an operation for having an Ultrasound Guided Ultra MIS Carpal Tunnel Release of his right hand. His surgeons were Dr Tyson Cobbs and Dr Jose Rojo (himself as well) using the technique published by Dr Rojo Manaute, Capa-Grasa et al (J Ultrasound Med, 2013).
