Embrace Your Future: International Hospitality Management | Oxford Brookes University

When thinking about going to university, Emilia Gennard thought of the one thing she’d always wanted to do, which was to turn her grandparents' house into a hotel – so a course in hospitality management was the perfect choice for her. See more about studying International Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University: https://www.brookes.ac.uk/undergraduate Originally, Emilia applied to Oxford Brookes as the International Hospitality Management course was rated the best in the country but also as she felt it would help her gain a job when she graduated. Within the course there is a placement opportunity which allows students to gain work experience in the industry. As part of this, Emilia has been working at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London, gaining new skills and putting what she’d learnt into practice. As well as the course, Oxford Brookes stood out from other universities due to the facilities on offer, such as the on-site doctors, dentist as well as mental health services, Student Support and the Student Union. Emilia is planning to continue in the industry when she completes her course. She hopes to get a graduate job in a boutique hotel and one day maybe even run her own hotel.
