Harvest Autograft AND Bone Marrow Quickly and Easily!

The Avitus® Bone & Marrow Harvester is a single-use, sterile-packed surgical device designed for efficient, minimally invasive harvesting of autologous cancellous bone and non-diluted bone marrow aspirate. It also serves as a closed-system solution for the debridement and capture of infected or necrotic cancellous bone, such as in cases of osteomyelitis or tumor resection. The system is optimized for orthopedic and trauma surgeons seeking to harvest biologic graft material quickly while minimizing contamination to the operative field. The device enables surgeons to extract between 5–50 cc of high-quality cancellous bone and an additional 5–40 cc of marrow aspirate from sites such as the proximal or distal tibia, calcaneus, femur, olecranon, or distal radius. The harvester comes in two diameters (6 mm and 8 mm) to accommodate various anatomical locations and surgeon preferences. Using a proprietary pilot hole creator and suction curettage technique, the system allows for fast graft retrieval through a small incision.
