This segment is a narrated photo show outlining the steps taken at the SIUe test site over the past year, in order to begin measuring the walls effect on rainwater capture and retention. The data shown at the end of the segment shows the positive retention impact of Living Retaining Walls v.s. the unplanted control walls in the testing set-up. In particular, the positive effect of one species of sedum over another. The data is not conclusive since it only represents measurement from July 2010 through October 2010 but it gives us an early indication of our direction and the trials will continue in this manner for at least a full year so that we can begin to understand the seasonal differences as well. http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/vid...
