The 1-column lifting and tilting device type HKV-GB-1S is designed for effortless lifting and tilting of large containers (big boxes) in the food processing industry. It facilitates the ergonomic emptying of heavy big boxes into other processing machines, such as tumblers, packaging machines, etc. The lifting-tilting device is available as standard in 5 different tilting heights, each with 4 different tilting directions (type A, type B, type C and type D). Depending on the design, the large boxes can be emptied via the long or narrow side of the container. The lifting and tilting device is equipped with a nickel-plated drive chain in the standard version and with a stainless steel chain in the Highline version. The stainless steel chain is resistant to chemicals and does not require any relubrication of grease. The design of the lifting and tilting device is determined by the type and viscosity of the bulk material and, if necessary, extended by special chutes and hoppers. Thus, the tilting devices can be adapted for almost any application. The special safety device (drop safety device) is made of stainless steel and consists of a 4 mm thick U-profile rail with rectangular fixing holes and a pressure spring activated 25 mm fork. The drop safety device comes into operation in case of chain breakage or when the chain sags. When this happens, the compression spring is released and the fork rotates into the fixing holes, bringing the load to an immediate stop.
