In honor of 40 years of Cape Verdean Independence, here is newly released footage of Norberto Tavares and the band that he brought to Cape Verde for the Gamboa Festival in May 2005. The band rehearsed at Heavy H's club in Praia. This is a short montage of footage from a long rehearsal. It includes several partial versions of the song, rehearsal conservations, and a band pep talk at the end of the clip. Norberto was clearly starting to tire by the end of it-- his diabetes was strongly affecting his health.
