Line 6 Helix Rack - Low gain improv

After many many years I have finally replaced my ageing Boss GT-pro. I've gone for a Line 6 Helix. Really like it. The GT-pro was fine for cleans and high gain but where it really didn't cut it was with the low gain/slightly dirty amp tones. The Helix is great fun to play with these sort of tones as it really does respond to your picking dynamics and to me 'feels' real. Roll off the volume and it cleans up the tone beautifully. Dig in and you get that lovely chunky thunk of a valve amp. It also has tons of loops/routing options, so integrating into my existing rack was easy. I can still run the Eventide H3000 in stereo and patch it in anywhere in the signal chain. Same with the Korg DL8000R. This video was made after about an hour with the unit so I haven't even scratched the surface yet. This is literally the first tone I made. Just improvising over a D drone.
