Rivera Clubbing – The Movie è un viaggio dalle origini dance music nella riviera adriatica, avvenuto con la nascita della baia degli Angeli, fino all’esplosione della musica house e della techno che hanno segnato la nascita di grandi club come il Peter Pan, l’Ethos e l’Echoes, il Cocoricò. Parleremo di questo attraverso la voce diretta dei protagonisti di quegli anni. Attraverso un percorso fatto di interviste, filmati inediti e molto altro Rivera Clubbing cercherà di rivelare come questo fenomeno si è sviluppato fino ad assumerne una dimensione internazionale. Un’ampia panoramica sulle radici più profonde del clubbing rivierasco e sul contesto storico-culturale di quella parte di territorio che da Rimini arriva fino a Gabicce di quegli anni. La musica innanzitutto con i protagonisti che oltre ad averla suonata la hanno anche prodotta e diffusa in tutto il mondo, da Daniele Baldelli a Mozart, continuando con Ricky Montanari e Cirillo. Ma anche i personaggi, gli stili e le mode che il mondo della notte rivierasco ha lanciato col suo inconfondibile marchio di fabbrica. Un fenomeno di costume che inevitabilmente ha influenzato le politiche turistiche del periodo creando consenso e ovviamente polemiche. It moves from the opening of the Baia degli Angeli to the house and techno music explosion that marked the birth of major clubs such as Peter Pan, Ethos, Echoes and Cocoricò. The same protagonists of those days remember through the storytelling of their memories and experiences. To better document the first movements of this trend, that rapidly turned popular world wide, the movie takes us through a path made of interwiews, unrelased footage and more. Rivera Clubbing gives a wide overview on the deepest roots of Romagna's coast clubbing institution and on the historical and cultural background of the strip of coast that runs from Rimini to Gabicce. In the period from the mid 70's to the end of the 90's, the Adriatic coast brought itself to the world's awereness as a renowend clubbing scene along side London, New York, Chicago, Frankfurt, Ibiza. Artists such Bob and Tom from Baia, Tony Humpries, Frankie Knukles, Dave Morales, Sven Vath and Carl Cox, found in the clubs of the adriatic riviera the ideal sets where showed off their talent and got inspiration.
