Stephen Byrns brings viewers on a visit to the Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers, NY in the latest episode of the ICAA's ongoing series "In Your Neighborhood." Stephen Byrns, who founded the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy in 2011 to restore what was called "America's Most Spectacular Garden," offers a peek at both restored features like the Walled Garden, the Visa, and the Outlook, as well as ongoing projects, including new garden plantings and the repair of the picturesque ruined gatehouse. For his work in founding the Conservancy and leading the restoration of these gardens, Stephen Byrns received the 2017 Stanford White Award for Stewardship. Stephen created this video as part of the ICAA's weekly newsletter, "Classicism at Home." Sign up today to receive a weekly escape into the worlds of architecture, art, and design.
