In March of 2023 I set out to knit (on the LK150 Knitting Machine) an outfit made with ONLY Dollar Tree Yarn, but quickly gave up on the project because as you'll see in the video, the knitting machine is harder than it looks! After putting the knitting machine in storage for a while the project became a little "out of sight out of mind" until recently y'all asked me... "Whatever happened to the Dollar Tree yarn outfit???" and I'm SO glad you did! I had a lot of fun getting out my LK 150 Knitting machine and learning to use it again. With the nerve damage in my arm, I've been unable to crochet as much as I used to and this has been such a fun way to make things with yarn again! This project ended up taking about 25 skeins of yarn from Dollar Tree with a cost total of roughly $32, and it took me the better part of three days to complete. Overall I liked working with the Dollar Tree yarn. It's not my favorite yarn I've ever used but it's a solid yarn. You can definitely get cheaper yarn when you buy bigger skeins BUT if you're just starting out and want a cheap option for practice yarn, Dollar Tree yarn might be the way to go!
